    Fire Detection System maintenance in Eastbourne

    I'm not certain, is a Fire & Security systems maintenance contract strictly necessary?

    For Intruder Alarms, keeping your system maintained and in good working order is usually required for your insurance. But the real win here is the peace of mind. Knowing your alarm will do its job when you need it is priceless..

    Also if you want Police Response, they insist on maintenance from an NSI Gold or SSAIB approved company. We're your best bet in Eastbourne and East Sussex.

    For Fire Alarms – the rules are clear. The British Standards and the RRFSO require your Fire Detection and Alarm System gets a professional maintenance visit at least twice a year, sometimes even more, depending on your situation. Everything we do at Armoury complies with the BAFE Scheme SP203 standards, keeping you compliant. And your insurance company happy.

    Fire Extinguishers are pressurized and can be dangerous if not kept in full working order. It's not worth the risk to skip this. Besides what would your Insurance company say if your extinguishers failed you?

    And finally for CCTV and Access Control, while it's not always legally required to have regular preventative maintenance, it's the right thing to do. If you want your finely tuned technology to keep on doing its job, you're better safe than sorry, right?

    If there's a problem with your system, chances are we can fix it from our end. That means in 9 out of 10 cases, we sort it out without even setting foot in your place! Think of the time and hassle it saves at 4.55pm on a Friday evening...

    In certain situations, an on-site visit is necessary. We'll get to you promptly to handle your problem. The best part is the remote diagnosis. So our engineer knows precisely what equipment to bring. No guesswork, no wasted trips. And more time and aggravation saved!

    One thing to keep in mind, though: if we're taking over your existing system, there's a chance it might not be compatible with remote access. However, most modern systems are.

    What happens if there is a problem with my alarm system?

    That's professional engineer human support (not a robot). The answerphone will pick up and you will be able to get through to your on-call engineer. We will attend site to deal with the situation. Or, fix it remotely.

    What if human error (e.g. burnt toast) sets off my Fire Detection System?
    It's ringing like mad and I can't stop it!

    You're in safe hands. Call us and we'll walk you through everything. Step by step, to stop the noise. Panic over.

    Your residents or employees can breathe a sigh of relief.

    Once you've stopped the noise, we'll take you through why your Fire Alarm has gone off. Walk through how to check and reset your system. And, if possible, advise on what to do to make sure it won't happen again.

    What does your service/maintenance contract cover?

    Your maintenance contract covers one service visit (or 2) per annum. This is an onsite visit to check all the components and batteries etc. Make sure your system is in full working order. All you have to pay for is any replacement parts or batteries.

    Then after this, you have access to our 24h service for the duration of cover. So if something happens, we'll make sure you're back up and running in no time. 

    We can fix up to 90% of problems remotely (depending on your system) OR over the phone. If not we'll get to you.
